About the Event
Some of life's most exciting moments were spontaneous, impromptu, unrehearsed and sometimes unexpected. Yet, the excitement was immeasurable and the moment so memorable. Well, we are going to adopt this same approach as we record our first album-single!
Strike-A-Chord Music-Making Project is organising Birmingham's first-ever Community Singalong which will be recorded LIVE as an album-single; and we want you and your family to be part of it! This exciting project combines the spirit of community, the warmth of togetherness and the therapeutic power of singing to bring families together and have fun. Above all, it strengthens family ties through musical chords.
This exciting adventure comes with a powerful life-lesson for our children, our families and our community: anything is possible! And so, this is the "Choir of Possibilities" ... seizing the moment and making it a monument.
Written, composed and arranged by Samuel Jonathan, "Sing of His Goodness" is the perfect Singalong. It is so simple to sing, no words to memorise and inspirational enough to "carry" everyone along. And guess what? Your name will be acknowledged on the album!
Samuel is the Founder of the Strike-A-Chord music-making project. He served as Music Director of the much-acclaimed Over-50's Christmas Concert (held last year) and has been featured on BBC thrice in the last 4 months.
Admission is FREE and no singing experience is required! However, registration is mandatory so that you can obtain your ticket for the event.
